The Search for Real UFO Evidence Died Because of Ufologists.

 

i first became interested in UFOs while at school and in 1975 joined the then British UFO Research Association and from that time until I left it was a non-stop struggle to get anyone to take the subject of "Time Loss" (as I termed them) reports and even after Hynek's "legitimising" the subject with his Close Encounters categories it was still a struggle. 

My "crackpot" work (as some called it began back then and it is in its 50th year which is bloody scary.  The files bulge out and I have had to stop adding to them since it seems they are still not taken seriously. 

This is not stamp collecting where you are doing nothing but collecting and certainly my books have not been one of those Year-by-year books with all the errors and hoax cases included. If I look at a report I try to gather as much information as possible before drawing, if I can, any conclusion. 

One thing I have written about before is the collective sit-on-your-ass work conducted by "Ufologists"  -Hickson and Parker had an alleged alien abduction experience in 1973 and in that same week so a number of other people had very close encounters. Ufologists were tripping over each other and grabbing "You're Next" tickets to interview them. The other percipients?  No one wanted to bother. They were all "black" people and, you know, you just had to ignore them. This has happened time and again and shows why Ufology and Ufologists cannot ever be taken seriously as a science or people working in a science.

As more time passes so too do witnesses and percipients who no one spoke to such as those involved in the Eupora incident or Kathy Reeves who must now be in her late 70s?  Once gone we have lost their testimony and that is evidence lost.   And, yes, I have tried repeatedly over 10 years to get someone involved in UFO investigation to follow up these reports as cold cases and every time I hit a brick wall. 

It is frustrating and depressing and quite honestly makes me want to get certain Ufologists and kick them in the ass.

We have to face it; the search for real UFO evidence (not grifter fakery) died because of Ufologists.

I was asked so I will respond here. 

"I heard you were working on two other books concentrating on UFO abductions and aliens when are they due out?"

Simple answer: yes, I was working on two other books and did all the research to guarantee that what went into print was accurate and not sensationalist crap like you find in most UFO books theses days.

Never. Is the response to when the books would appear. There are four heavily researched and referenced books that I have already published and those include some never or hardly ever seen before seen photographs.  I think the sales amount to one copy of each book and that despite the many thousands who have seen the posts and various publishing campaigns. Lying and grifting is the only thing makes money. Not facts.

The same applies to the "World mystery" books. I could complete at least another two of those to add to the five already published but sales of those existing are not even making me money (sales dried up about 3 years ago). Again, lying and grifting is all that sells and even including long 'lost' photographs and much more has not gotten any sales.

There have been 624128 views ( 32980 here at the AE CE3K blog) of blog posts and 35,000 views ( some 3960 for this blog) last month and with those kind of figures and world wide readership of people allegedly interested in this stuff no sales are BAD. It is why I gave up researching and posting long original articles (usually stolen by others to put on to their blog to get the credit any way) here. No feedback, no "Hey have you read this?" and no book sales.

So, no. No new books which is a pity but that's life.

My counter question would be: why are you interested when new books are coming out when you have not purchased a copy of any of the others?

Since 1947 it has been claimed that UFOs/flying saucers are evidence of aliens visiting the Earth.  Since the 1950s claims of encounters with landed craft and alien beings were talked about but not taken seriously.

In the 1960s the subject of UFO abduction was a "slow-burner" until the whole "Grey" abduction phenomenon and claims made by researchers such as Budd Hopkins, Prof. John Mack and Dr David Jacobs and Whitley Streiber.

But is there evidence to back up any of the claims -and what about those encountering Alien Entities but who were not abducted?

Are these people all hoaxers, psychotic or suffering from some other mental illness as some claim?

Are those people who were exposed by Ufologists against their wishes, people who wanted to report what happened and then just get back to their everyday lives -thrust into the media glare against their will?

And if US authorities were so interested that in one case at least they broke into the home of two abductees and this was later proven -why?

Why did a hard core of these people never want publicity or to make money from what happened to them?

Above all, why did a major UFO landing incident take place on a US Inbterstate road in front of a large number of observers (all willing to talk to investigators) never get investigated? If it were not for a radio presenter interviewing and taking notes we would know nothing of the case -it would be labelled "insubstantial".

James and Coral Lorensen -the Scopolamine Kids; using a very notorious "truth drug" on alleged UFO witnesses and selling stories to newspapers.  An investigator (a veteran) showing a witness images of "aliens" encountered in other cases before any memories were retrieved.  Worst of all, the constant "pissing competition" and breaches of trust between UFO investigators.

2017 is the time to assess the past evidence and look at the faults within Ufology.

Not everyone is going to be happy -debunkers or ufologists.

The Search for Extra Terrestrial Intelligence (SETI) says that we may have to wait many thousands of years before any signals sent gets a response if they are detected.

1973 –Year of the “Global UFO Wave” 

1973 –The “Year of the Humanoids” 

1973 –The year of the Pascagoula alien abduction claim 

1973 –Several witnesses observed two Unidentified Flying Objects: one temporarily landed on a US Interstate road while the other hovered close-by. An entity appeared from the landed object. A car driver approaching from the opposite direction stops, turns his/her car and races off. This is classed as a Major Incident in Ufology. 

1973 –a driver observes a landed UFO and entities and opens fire with his gun when he felt threatened. A High Strangeness account. 

Neither of these cases was investigated despite requests for local investigators to do so. Even in 2020 the idea of opening up either as a cold case was flatly Rejected by America’s ‘top UFO investigation’ group. 

Reports now probably lost to history. 

1973 –a year in which UFO reports from African-Americans were frowned upon and ignored. Nothing has changed.

The UFO abduction experiences of 4 different couples, including Betty & ...

 Betty and Barney Hill we have heard about for decades and these days I roll my eyes when another item pops up about their case.

The second case referred to here has the hallmarks of a false memory -the conflicting memories being one of them.

The Novak case I have always had doubts about. There is something off about it and when you bring Budd Hopkins into the mix the case gets downgraded.  C D B  Bryan I think did himself no favours in pushing support for Hopkins  and the reality of the claims...he does not believe in.
