There have been many claims of UFO landings and encounters with alien entities since 1947 and while some such as that of Betty and Barney Hill and Travis Walton may be well known they were not the first and certainly not the best incidents. Encounter claims are a world wide phenomenon and not confined to the United States. After 50 years of the CE3K/Alien Entity Study, For this fifth book looking at CE3K/AE reports Terry Hooper has chosen some of the best and least known reports as well as some that might be known but adding much detail; Aveley, Ewloe, Kingfield and others deserve to be better known as does the case of Elsie Oakensen, Bronte Lloyd, Chapters include:

The Search for Extra Terrestrial Intelligence (SETI) says that we may have to wait many thousands of years before any signals sent gets a response if they are detected.

The real SETI may already have established the there is alien life –and it has been visiting Earth for at least 70 years.

Once the mass of reports of Close Encounters of the Third Kind and entity encounters are sifted there remains a strong core of cases that defy logical explanation and suggest that these encounters have resulted in physiological effects and post traumatic stress.

Terry Hooper-Scharf of the CE3K/AE Project has led research into these reports for over 40 years and in this work takes a look at rare or obscure reports as well as cataloguing encounters from Germany and Portugal and focuses in on correlations in the reports and how the Dandenong (Kelly Cahill) encounter could be the best case ever reported.

Have the serious investigators and researchers looking into UFOs been unearthing better evidence of extra terrestrial life and contact with humans than established SETI ?

UFO Contact Looking for the Evidence for Alien Visitation

Although there are some classic cases in these books the majority involve cases that are very rare, have never appeared in English before and unlike most "clump everything together to fill a book" efforts these look at aspects of cases as well as some very common but not reported on before entity and scenario types.

Someone who has been involved in Ufology since the 1980s noted: "Over half these cases I have never heard of before!"

Since 1947 it has been claimed that UFOs/flying saucers are evidence of aliens visiting the Earth.  Since the 1950s claims of encounters with landed craft and alien beings were talked about but not taken seriously.

In the 1960s the subject of UFO abduction was a "slow-burner" until the whole "Grey" abduction phenomenon and claims made by researchers such as Budd Hopkins, Prof. John Mack and Dr David Jacobs and Whitley Streiber.

But is there evidence to back up any of the claims -and what about those encountering Alien Entities but who were not abducted?

Are these people all hoaxers, psychotic or suffering from some other mental illness as some claim?

Are those people who were exposed by Ufologists against their wishes, people who wanted to report what happened and then just get back to their everyday lives -thrust into the media glare against their will?

And if US authorities were so interested that in one case at least they broke into the home of two abductees and this was later proven -why?

Why did a hard core of these people never want publicity or to make money from what happened to them?

Above all, why did a major UFO landing incident take place on a US Inbterstate road in front of a large number of observers (all willing to talk to investigators) never get investigated? If it were not for a radio presenter interviewing and taking notes we would know nothing of the case -it would be labelled "insubstantial".

James and Coral Lorenzen -the Scopolamine Kids; using a very notorious "truth drug" on alleged UFO witnesses and selling stories to newspapers.  An investigator (a veteran) showing a witness images of "aliens" encountered in other cases before any memories were retrieved.  Worst of all, the constant "pissing competition" and breaches of trust between UFO investigators.

Fully illustrated with drawings, maps and photographs some very rare or previously unpublished.

Praised by Dr Mark Rodheiger of the Centre for UFO Studies and, below, John Hanson of the Haunted Skies Project and Colonel Charles Halt the officer involved in the Rendlesham incident.

Time to Stop? Update

Since 2015 I have made 904 posts and there have been 14 comments.

Is the work worth it? Translating, posting and then having original posts stolen by others to use.

At this moment I cannot see the point in carrying on. I don't even get book sales out of all the views.

If no more posts appear you know why. If you care.

UPDATE

Having considered the amount of time and effort I put into posting let alone translating only to have my work stolen and no reactions from readers I think the time to quit is here.

I need to eat and pay bills like everyone else but this blog has not even resulted in any books being sold.  Looks like the internet thieves will have to look for somewhere else to steal content from (and accurate, researched content on this aspect of UFOs does not exist out there. I kn ow. I've searchged.

Armenia,April, 1990: Yerevan schoolchildren Encounter

This has been a translating challenge! I've also used various online translators because my Russian is really non existant!  Apologies for any oddities that slip through.

"Close encounter of the third kind, which has the property encyclopedicity"

Published story on Sat, 04/18/2009 - 7:46 PM

 Stanislav Ermakov

Published as an appendix to the book "Secrets of the Living Earth. S.E. Ermakov, T.V. Faminskaya"

The author waffles on quite a bit at first and it adds nothing to the report so:

"Let's move on to the facts, presented in the dry language of the “Report on the investigation of the report of “contact of Yerevan schoolchildren with UFOs in April 1990.”

Chronicle of events

"In the last ten days of April 1990, three fourth-grade students of Yerevan school No. 111, which is located on the outskirts of the city, were playing football in the school yard after class.  It was at this moment that they suddenly saw a strange glowing spherical object in the sky. The object landed at a distance of about 300 meters from the children on rocky wasteland behind the school and opened up into two parts at the moment of landing (“like “an orange cut in half,” the children said later.

"Three tall humanoid figures, one of which moved toward the school yard and the  4-meter-high metal mesh fence around the school yard. Unlike The first fence that the “UFOnaut” managed to step over without difficulty, the second one turned out to be a more serious obstacle. After several unsuccessful attempts step over it, the “UFOnaut” transformed (turned into a glowing ball about 1 meter in diameter), bounced “like a ball” (according to the children) up the net fence, and then rolled down, already from the side of the school yard. Having touched the ground, the ball turned into a "UFOnaut" again and moved towards the dumbfounded boys. At that moment two more of their classmates ran out from around the corner of the school building, and all five watched the approach of the "UFOnaut".

above one of the "Ufonauts2 and ground traces found

"The creature resembled a robot in appearance, just over 2 meters tall, grayish metallic hue, with a screen-like appearance on the chest. Below the screen there was a device similar to a watch. The creature's "mouth" was closed with a metal grid, on the forehead there was something resembling a light bulb or a “third eye”. The names of each of the schoolchildren, written in letters, flashed on the screen one by one in Armenian letters. Frightened, one of the boys started to run but was knocked down with a powerful blow of unknown nature -a beam of light burst out of the creature's "third eye" and hit the boy in the arm. A red spot appeared on the skin (change in pigmentation), which persisted for at least six months (in October 1990 it was clearly visible). The doctors the boy's parents consulted were unable to determine the etiology of this spot.

"A conversation took place between the children and the “UFOnaut”, in which the alien's responses to questions asked out loud appeared on the same screen. Conversation concerned the future of ArmeniaAccording to the school children, during the conversation one of them suddenly began to rise into the air under the action of the same (or similar) beam emanating from the frontal  parts of the "UFOnaut's" head. The second boy tried to hold back his friend by grabbing by the leg (from which we can conclude that by that time he had risen to a height of not less than 1 meter), but was lifted along with him by the same force. Both of them for a few seconds hung in the air, after which both fell to the ground when the impact ceased.

"It should be noted that after some time has passed since the start of the conversation, The children's consciousness began to periodically "switch off".

"Further details that were found out from the eyewitnesses' account: When the youths came to their senses after what was apparently a short-term blackout, the “UFOnaut” walked around the yard, bending down from time to time and groping on the ground with his fingers. He picked up a stone from the ground with his left hand, which he rubbed against his right hand, which is why it acquired a reddish tint (I assume they mean the stone was tinted -TH). Then the "UFOnaut" followed the same path as before, returned to the object and climbed into it. The object closed, once again taking the shape of a ball, “jumped up like a spring” and disappeared into the sky, hovering for a moment above the school yard and flashing a beam of light at the children.

"When asked what the other two “UFOnauts” were doing all this time, the children answered, that they seemed to be constantly near the object and performing actions that can be roughly called taking soil samples.

"This whole story could easily be dismissed as pure fiction if not the results of complex studies or a series of events that occurred before and after this case. But first of all, one very important consideration. Children, as it turns out, didn't really know a single word in Russian except "hello." As of August 1990, when A.G. Tonakanyan learned about this case, there was not a single report related to the UFO problem published in the Armenian language. Likewise, Russian-language media in Armenia  completely ignored this phenomenon. Thus, we can completely exclude the assumption that the children made up this whole story after listening to radio and television programs or after reading newspaper articles.

Chronicle and results of the investigation

"In September 1990, local television, on the initiative of Hakob Tonakanyan, went to the scene of the incident in order to prepare a television program with a story about this incident. During the filming, the children were asked the question: “Have you ever seen anything else? something like that?”, to which the answer was: “Yes, these things are quite common here.”

“They’re flying... Look, there’s one flying!” Indeed, in the sky above the school yard a shiny ball was moving, according to the children, exactly the same as the one that had descended onto the vacant lot near the school. The TV cameraman raised his camera and started filming. a flying object. Suddenly a gust of wind blew, dust rose sharply, and... the cable the camera's power supply (which connected it to the TV crew's car) disconnected. When the dust settled, the object in the sky was no longer there.

"The story was soon shown on local television and became the first  broadcast about a UFO in Armenia, after which a flood of messages poured into ASUNI, photographs and even video footage of UFO sightings from all over the republic.

"Dowsing survey of the area (conducted by us in October 1990 – Auth.) confirmed the presence of a characteristic annular biolocation anomaly on the site of the proposed landing site. Let us remember that the children did not know Russian, just like we couldn't speak Armenian. As a result, the work was organized in the following way: first, we filmed, we did this or that conclusions, reported them to their Armenian colleagues, and they, in turn, clarified with eyewitnesses provided relevant details of the contact. Point marks were discovered anomalies which were later found to coincide with the locations  transformations and stops of the “UFOnaut” as it moves around the school yard. (basically the team asked where the object landed and where the entity was to check those spots -TH).

Very significant vertical dowsing anomalies were also noted on the grid. the fence of the vineyard where the “UFOnaut” crossed it and on the fence mesh of the school courtyard in the place where the “UFOnaut” transforms into a ball. When exploring the proposed location the landing of the object and the route of movement of the “UFOnaut” where vegetation grew-three spots were found, presumably, traces of his “feet”. By distance between them, taking into account the approximate proportions the "UFOnaut"'s probable height was calculated, amounting to 2-2.5 meters. The “footprints” had the shape of  slightly elongated circle measuring about 0.2- 0.25 meters along the long axis. At the transformation points and in areas with softer soil until October 1990 (see illo above -TH).

"The city has preserved excavations with a depth of 0.05-0.1 meters. It is interesting to note that all ant trails,  abundantly present in the school yard and in the vineyard, passed in such a way as if the ants would carefully go around all the supposed “traces”, carefully following their edge and after that returning to the old direction. Other holes, located away from the trajectory of “the movements of the UFOnaut” "stood out"

"At the landing site, on the basalt fragments, there were semicircular grooves found, possibly resulting from a large impact forces. There are also traces of thermal action on the grooves. Geologists who took participation in the investigation of the case clearly state that with a geological hammer, as well as with any other impact tool, such damage to basalt is not impossible.

"Upon closer visual inspection of the proposed landing site, it was  found that the ring-shaped anomaly is also distinguished by changes in color vegetation, which along its contour was more faded and withered.

Above: damage to basalt

"From the landing site the supposed traces of the “UFOnaut” and the landing site soil samples were taken - two from each point of the proposed impacts, as well as control samples. Candidate of Geological Sciences L.A. Araratyan prepared sections from samples of each group and studied them under a microscope and subjected to spectral analysis. Microscopic studies of the main samples revealed the presence of fused quartz and, in part, pyroxene. In a control sample taken at a distance of two meters from the landing site the state of crystalline forms of minerals (quartz, pyroxene, etc.) did not change. In addition, with the light brown color of the control sample.

"The main samples were black to charred, although, according to microscopy there were many more minerals in the control sample. Spectral analysis showed a difference in the content of 3 elements out of 10, namely: copper, lead, and titanium. Their content in the control sample was 2-2.5 times lower. No anomalies in the radiation or magnetic background were detected.

"The results of the experiment also set by L.A. Araratyan turned out to be very interesting. agrochemical experiment on germination of wheat seeds on main and control soil samples. The lag in the vegetation period of the main sowing compared to the control was about two weeks, and the germination of seeds planted in the soil, taken from the place where the “UFOnaut” was transformed into a ball, turned out to be 95% lower than the control one.

Above the the "agrochemical" plant tests

"During dowsing examination of the alleged landing site and "UFOnaut" traversed path was photographed on black and white negative and color reversal film (camera FED-3; photographic films: Svema-125 GOST and ORWO UT-18) using light filters: Ж- 2X for black and white film and polarizing for color. The reversal film was not completely used but was used over the next two days for photography not related to study of anomalous phenomena.

"After processing the film in Moscow, a red tint was discovered across the entire run of frames taken in the landing site. No anomalies were found on the black-and-white film.

" During the questioning of eyewitnesses by T.E. Arutyunyan and A.G. Tonakanyan it became known that approximately two weeks before the schoolchildren's contact with the UFO, one of the children before going to bed was in a strange state (“sleep and not-sleep”) and it seems that a figure approached, exactly the same type as those that came out of the ball. It said: “Soon you will be playing in a group of five in the school yard, there will be five of you, we’ll fly in and talk to you.” At that moment, the boy, of course, didn’t give it a second thought. no significance to his vision. Moreover, according to him, in August he was spending the holidays with his grandmother in another city. One day he went to a local market for milk and on the way he met an old woman who called him by his name and asked him how  where? TH) he lived. When asked how she knew him, the “old lady,” lsuddenly turned into the same “robot” (literally -Auth.) and disappeared right before the eyes of the astonished child.

Conclusion

"That's the story. We ourselves, having heard everything, find it hard to believe its reality. But the same stubborn facts is that the results of surveys and experiments, an exposed slide film that captured a basalt block with a pothole, a spot on in the boy's hand, a video tape (shot by a professional!) with a sparkling object flying in the sky metallic shiny ball - where can you escape from them?

"By the way, this landing site is not just a local one ring-shaped anomaly but on the ley line and tectonic fault (this was checked Akop Tonakanyan, who was subsequently trained by us), and earlier on this wasteland there used to be an old cemetery...

"Why do we call this case “an encyclopedia of close encounters of the third kind”? Well, here it is.  Any person who is even slightly well-read and knows the problems associated with studying UFOs and contacts, will immediately note that in this case, all or almost all the features are typical of close encounters.

"We won't describe them in detail again. We'll just point out the deliberate “puppet-like” nature of the “robot”, a kind of primitivism of its appearance, as if on purpose invented for ten-year-old boys, which doesn't really fit in with transformations into a ball and back, and with a beam capable of lifting two boys into the air and keep them in a “hanging position”, as well as the absurd entity behavior; let us also draw your attention to the story with the “warning” about upcoming contact (the story about the “old lady humanoid” inspires less confidence, although the characteristic features of the eyewitness's behavior seem to convince us that he at least talks about what he saw)... Here you have your “special state of consciousness”...

"What was it? Who was it? We can argue endlessly, as we did with our Armenian friends and colleagues, but still haven't come to any conclusion. Was this encounter necessarily for the boys or for the unknown directors of this event?

As it happens, the incident with the schoolchildren accelerated the creation of the first UFO group in Armenia.

Maybe it was only necessary for us to tell you, our readers, this amazing story full of miracles and transformations? It must be said, however, that this story requires a number of clarifications. In part details of its beginning, since we relied on our joint speech with Akop, when it was written and from memory. And memory, alas, is not always a treacherous thing. Never mind, we'll fix it.

Commentary on the third-kind contact of schoolchildren in Armenia Ufologists called this contact encyclopedic, referring to a number of typical at the moment:

- there was contact with children (and this is not the first case);

- the aliens behaved in a manner that was completely understandable to children;

- the appearance corresponded to children’s ideas about robots;

- Attentiveness and kindness were shown towards the children.

- the contact was confirmed by ufologists who examined the landing site and school yard and recorded anomalous zones (footprints of aliens and landing UFO spot).

"What was the aliens' purpose in this contact? It seems to me that it's obvious. The bulk of the population of Armenia was an information swamp. “It’s you in Moscow who have aliens “They walk around Red Square,” and “we in Yerevan are thinking about where to get peaches(?).” There is a complete down-to-earthness with everyday concerns. It was into this swamp that the “stone” was thrown – “the appearance of aliens to children”, which stirred up the public. Children are pure, innocent creatures (fourth-graders!),

"They don't know how to lie without a reason, they don't drink alcohol and they are not prone to hallucinate  - there is no reason not to believe them. And the ufologist was wrong to doubt the story about old humanoid woman. This story fits into the story very well and suggests the idea that the true essence of "aliens" is energetic, so they can easily changed their appearance: an old robot lady (apparently short) – a robot two-meter tall (in front of the children) - a luminous ball (the true essence) - and again a robot.

"And for greater persuasiveness, right during the television filming,  a UFO flies overhead in front of all those present those present, moreover, it raises a dust storm and pulls out the camera's power cable from the socket on the car. To pull the cable out of the socket It was necessary to use force and the wind was not the reason for this.

"Let's remember that the robot lifted two children into the air with its beam (for children and adults this is there was a demonstration of the alien's capabilities). Obviously, behind the dusty curtain the same  The cable was disconnected with a beam (speculation -TH). The dust settled immediately after that. Ufologists admitted an oversight by not inspecting the cable tip and the socket for its attachment -  to retain traces of energy impact.

"Thus, from this event, ufology began to develop in Armenia and disseminate UFO information among the population"

Firstly, we have no names for the boys so I will call the boy who saw the transforming "old lady" Piotr. To me, after all these decades that event sounds as though Piotr had entered an altered state. Recall that he was "asleep but not asleep" when a similar robot entity approached his bed. The comparisons to cases such as that of Gaynor Sunderland in the UK are striking.

That written, what about the main encounter? Is it possible that the earlier 'encounters' were false memories?  After all, there were other boys present who the investigators state confirmed the account of the landing.

There are questions, however, and the main one is the "black outs of consciousness" which seems to indicate time loss which is not covered in the report. If -IF- we assume that this was a true incident it could well be that what the boys remember are false memories to help them cope with an on board experience -by the entities or their own minds and someone will point out that not all five boys would come up with the same false memory.

It would be nice to see a copy of the full report in English along with details of all of the tests and I would hope that included notes on UFO observations before this event because many cases by youngsters who reported UFO sightings before a CE3K have been dismissed by Ufologists rather than those 'UFO professionals' checking locals to see if there were sightings. "They're kids. Messing about but no point listening to them anyway!" Is a very common dismissive statement.

Translating, editing, etc has now taken up five hours of my day. Enjoy!

One of the Strangest UFO Cases Ever Recorded
