When I screw up and make a dumb-ass purchase I really go for it. I saw this book Close Encounters: Volume Two: The Abduction cases of Charles Hickson & Calvin Parker, Scott & Wendy Longley, Linda Cortile, Betty Andreasson, and Kelly Cahill and it is awful. The linda Cortyile case which is now known to be a hoax is treated as genuine. The other cases are just cobbled together notes and it looks as though blog posts have just been strung into 50 pages. There are no photographs, maps or illustrations and these are important as they give readers something to help visualise and event. I read through this in under half an hour.
Not value for money, certainly not giving you facts and altogether even the cover is uninspiring.
