What we have here is an account by a lady in her 70s that has absolutely no back-up from the other witness who refused to discuss the matter. The diary entry...I have diaries going back to the 1990s and can make an entry in any of them today so that is not proof of anything in this case.
The other alleged percipient could have a reason for not wanting to cooperate or discuss the event. It never happened? This may be something that has popped into the woman's head as a real event and her discussing this and her friend not wanting to when they met up (we have only one person's word on this) may indicate that the friend knew this was a fantasy or altered state experience but is not going to back-up what her friend says to "protect" her from ridicule.
You need far more to have a case be considered genuine and although it seems a very interesting story it would receive a low credibility rating because this is one person's account and we know very little about her or her mental state at the time that she reported the encounter.
