"Over 4 decades I have spoken with alleged UFO abductees and the ones that stand out are the fantasy prone ones. They BELIEVE what they claim and add things in or find exact dates, etc hard to work out.

This sounds like she has been influenced by things from childhood (X Files and the black goo) and it is very possible that she is not deliberately deceitful especially if you look at the body language..

She may actually believe what she claims and may cold read someone instinctively and subconsciously."
